Is There Burnout Coaching That Actually Understands Neurodivergence?
Yes — though it’s worth being specific about what that means. Most burnout coaching assumes a baseline: rest more, set boundaries, manage your calendar better. That advice can miss the point entirely if your nervous system, attention, or sense of overwhelm doesn’t work the way it assumes. My coaching is IFS-informed, which means we look at why certain patterns exist before we try to change them — not just symptom management.
What this looks like in practice
Generic burnout advice often lands as another thing to fail at. “Just take breaks” doesn’t help if the reason you’re depleted is years of compensating for how your brain actually works — masking, overriding your own signals, running systems that were never built for you.
I don’t start from a diagnosis or a checklist. I start from your story — what depletion actually looks like for you, what’s been tried already, what hasn’t worked and why. From there, we build an approach that fits how you actually think, not how you’ve been told you’re supposed to function.
What I won’t do
I won’t hand you a generic framework and call it personalized. I’m not a therapist, and if something comes up that needs clinical support, I’ll say so honestly rather than working outside what coaching can responsibly do.
If this sounds like what you’ve been looking for, a free 20-minute call is a good place to start — no pitch, no pressure, just an honest conversation about where you are.
